Organic Pai Mu Tan is a true testament to the artistry and dedication of Chinese tea farmers. This exquisite white tea hails from the Fujian province of China, a region renowned for its rich tea-growing heritage.  

White teas are among the most delicate and minimally processed of all teas. They are typically made from young buds and the first few leaves of the tea plant, often hand-plucked to preserve their integrity. Unlike green teas, which are steamed to halt oxidation, white teas are simply withered and dried, allowing for a gentle oxidation process. This minimal processing results in a tea that retains a delicate sweetness and a subtle complexity.   

Pai Mu Tan, often referred to as “White Peony,” is considered by many to be one of the finest white teas available. It is characterized by large, silvery-white buds that resemble delicate peony blossoms, hence the name. These buds, along with the first few leaves, are carefully hand-picked to ensure the highest quality.
