Tips for the Perfect Summer Tea:

  • Brewing Recommendation: We recommend 4 grams of tea per 250ml of water. Place tea in a jug and add freshly filtered water. Leave in the fridge overnight. Cold brewing works well in a clean French Press/Cafetiere. For hot tea, use freshly drawn water that has been boiled, and allow fruit infusions to steep for up to 10 minutes. For green tea, we recommend a water temperature not exceeding 85C, boiling water will result in a bitter brew.
  • Brew it strong: For iced tea, brew your tea a little stronger than usual to account for dilution from ice.
  • Get creative: Experiment with garnishes! Add fresh fruit slices or herbs like mint or rosemary.
  • Chill it down: For an interesting twist, pour concentrated brewed tea into ice cube trays and freeze. Add these flavoured ice cubes as a lovely addition to sparkling water or your favourite cocktail.
  • A Treat for Your Little Ones: Pour brewed tea into lolly makers and freeze for the perfect summer treat for your little ones.
  • A Cheeky Treat for the Adults: Any of our Summer Brew fruit infusions make a perfect cocktail mix, livening up your summer barbeque. We have done the research and find that gin, vodka, or tequila work particularly well.
